The 2020 BMW Championship, the second event of the FedEx Cup Playoffs, kicks off Thursday with the Top 70 players battling it out for a chance to make the Tour Championship. You can find full first round tee times at the bottom of this post.

Notable groupings for BMW Championship Round 1

Tiger Woods is not where he wanted to be entering this week’s BMW. At 57th in the rankings, Tiger needs a big week to keep his season alive, and it all starts on Thursday afternoon. Woods tees off for the first round at Olympia Fields CC at 1:14 p.m. ET. He’ll start on the 10th tee playing alongside two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson and Carlos Ortiz.

Teeing off in the group ahead of Woods on Saturday (1:03 p.m. ET) are the top 3 players in the FedEx Cup standings: Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas and Daniel Berger (Berger is actually ranked 4th, but No. 3-ranked Webb Simpson chose to sit this week out). Johnson had a dominant win last week to start the Playoffs, and it helped him once again become the top-ranked golfer in the world. He also took the top spot in FedEx standings from Thomas, who is the defending champion this week.

Another grouping to look out for on Thursday features Collin Morikawa, Harris English and Bryson DeChambeau. Morikawa, of course, is the new PGA champion, while DeChambeau is looking to add a seventh win to his PGA Tour resume. That trio tees off at 2:09 p.m. ET.
