The 2020 FedEx Cup Playoffs continue this week with the 2020 BMW Championship at Olympia Fields in Illinois. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the event.

BMW Championship preview

The Playoffs got underway last week in Boston with Dustin Johnson’s dominant win at the Northern Trust. Now the Top 70 in the FedEx Cup standings fight on at the BMW. While a number of big names failed to qualify, the field is still full of the best golfers in the world.

With his victory last week, Johnson not only wrested the top spot in the FedEx rankings from Justin Thomas, he also became the No. 1 player in the Official World Golf Ranking. DJ has held that title before, but he hasn’t won the FedEx Cup, and now he’s in prime position to do so.

Justin Thomas, now ranked No. 2 in the FedEx Cup, won’t go down without a fight. Neither will Webb Simpson (No. 5), PGA champion Collin Morikawa (No. 5) or Bryson DeChambeau (No. 7).

Tiger Woods, on the other hand, begins the week ranked 57th, having dropped eight spots since his mostly lackluster performance at the Northern Trust. Only the Top 30 on Sunday night make it to the season-ending Tour Championship, so Woods has his work cut out for him if he wants to be a part of the festivities at East Lake.
