Some of the best golfers in the world are in Memphis for Round 1 of the 2021 WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational. Here’s what you need to know to watch the first-round action on TV or online.
Previewing WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational Round 1
Given the high-octane nature of the field this week in Memphis, few would pick World No. 11 Jordan Spieth to win. In fact, there are seven American players in the field with a better ranking than the three-time major champ. But unlike several of those players, Spieth did not travel to Tokyo last week to play in the Olympics, so he should be fresher than most as he tries to capture his 13th PGA Tour win.
The same can be said for Bryson DeChambeau, Dustin Johnson and betting favorite Brooks Koepka, but the stars of the Olympics are in Tennessee this week, too. That includes gold-medal winner Xander Schuaffele, and three players who just missed out on bronze: Collin Morikawa, Hideki Matsuyama and Rory McIlroy.
Spieth starts the first round at 10:59 a.m. ET on Thursday, and he’ll play alongside Koepka and McIlroy. Below you will find everything you need to watch the first round on Thursday.
