BLAINE, Minn. — Dustin Johnson is without his brother and caddie Austin Johnson at the 3M Open this week. Austin tested positive for Covid-19, according to Paul Tesori, who broke the news on the PGA Tour Live telecast on Thursday.

TaylorMade’s VP of Tour Operations, Keith Sbarbaro, is on Johnson’s bag instead. Sbarbaro has filled in and caddied for Dustin Johnson before.

Dustin Johnson tested positive for Covid-19 last fall, several weeks before he won the Masters.

Johnson was one over through 15 holes on Thursday when a weather delay hit TPC Twin Cities. He’s nine off the lead, which is held by Scott Stallings (eight under) through 17 holes.

Johnson is coming off a T8 at the Open Championship. Follow the first-round action at the 3M Open here.
