Sentry Tournament of Champions odds to win: DJ the favorite at first event of 2021

It might be a new year, but Dustin Johnson is still on top of the golf world. The No. 1-ranked player in the world is the favorite to take home the title at the first event of 2021 as he heads to the Sentry Tournament of Champions with 6/1 odds, according to golfodds.com.

Johnson has won the event twice in his career — most recently in 2018 — and has not finished outside the top 10 since 2010. The start will mark the first event Johnson has played since his Masters victory in November.

Just behind Johnson sits the second- and third-ranked players in the world in Jon Rahm and Justin Thomas. Rahm has never finished outside the top 10 in three previous starts and Thomas is a two-time champion, including a playoff victory last season.

Rounding out the top five are Bryson DeChambeau and Xander Schauffele, who rank as the Nos. 5 and 6 players in the world. They are both making their first starts since the Masters. Check out odds for the entire field below.
