The player who lost to JT in the playoff at the PGA , Will Zalatoris (+2000), is in the field, too, as is the man who held the PGA lead until the very last hole, Mito Pereira (+4000).

Despite a disappointing performance at the PGA, Texas native Jordan Spieth comes in to the Charles Schwab Challenge tied for second place in odds to win at +1200. The player tied with him? 2022 Masters champion and World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler.

With so many big names teeing it up, it should be a fun week, and a tough one to bet on.

2022 Charles Schwab Challenge odds: Long shot of the week

Lost in the shuffle of the final-round drama on Sunday at the PGA was Rickie Fowler shooting an even-par 70 to finish T23 at two over. It was his second-best major finish in years after only his T8 at the 2021 PGA.

Fowler is desperately trying to get back to his winning ways after years of struggles, so a performance like that should give him a nice shot of confidence. The oddsmakers have set Fowler’s number at +10000 this week, which makes him a long shot by most definitions. With his game turning in the right direction, he’s well worth a small bet at Colonial. Should he pull off the win, you could turn $10 into $1,000.
