WATCH: Woman makes incredible hole-in-one with putter at Bandon Dunes’ Sheep Ranch

Sheep Ranch, the newest course at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, has already received plenty of publicity since it officially opened this summer. Now, due to one viral video, the course (and one proud golfer) is getting even more attention.

Allison Koehnke, a 36-year-old from Salem, Ore., aced the breathtaking and cliffside 102-yard par-3 16th at the Sheep Ranch on Friday — and it was all caught on video, even the jubilant celebration. Oh, and better yet, she did it with her putter.

Koehnke took a big swing from the tee and rolled her ball onto the green, and then she got a lucky break — her ball ricocheted off one of her playing partners’ ball and tracked toward the cup, dropping in for the first hole-in-one of her life.

According to Golf Digest, Allison’s husband, Drew, recorded the video, and Friday was Allison’s first full round of the year. The mother of two usually plays a few holes a week with friends.

“This is beyond unreal,” Koehnke told Golf Digest. “I never thought this would happen to me.”
