2021 Valero Texas Open: How to watch the final event before the Masters

On the heels of an exciting weekend at the Match Play, the PGA Tour sticks around in Texas this week for the 2021 Valero Texas Open. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the tournament.

The 2021 Masters, the first men’s major of the year (and the second Masters in less than six months), is right around the corner. But before Masters week begins, players have one last chance to punch their ticket to Augusta National at the Valero Texas Open.
One of the players who needs a victory at TPC San Antonio is Rickie Fowler. The popular five-time PGA Tour winner has fallen into a slump over the past two years since his last win at the 2019 Waste Management Phoenix Open. Due to his precipitous drop in the Official World Golf Ranking (he’s now ranked 94th), he currently isn’t qualified for the Masters.

If he doesn’t pick up a win this week, he’ll end his 10-year run of consecutive Masters appearances, a stretch that features three top-10s, including a second-place finish in 2018 and a T9 in 2019.
Another big-name joining Fowler in the Texas Open field is Jordan Spieth. The three-time major champion is coming out of a slump of his own at the moment, with four top-10s in his last six starts. Though he’s already qualified for Augusta thanks to his 2015 Masters win, he’s desperately searching for his first win since 2017 this week.
