The PGA Tour heads to Connecticut this week for the 2021 Travelers Championship, which begins Thursday, June 24. You can find full first round tee times for the Travelers at the bottom of this post.
Notable groupings for Travelers Championship Round 1
Dustin Johnson’s chances of winning his second U.S. Open looked pretty good at one point on Sunday at Torrey Pines, but Johnson wasn’t able to keep the good form going, eventually falling to a T19 finish. Meanwhile, Jon Rahm went on to win, dethroning DJ as World No. 1 in the process.
But Rahm is taking the week off, which leaves a great opportunity for Johnson, who is the defending champion, to get back in the winner’s circle and back atop the rankings heap. Johnson tees off on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. ET in a star-studded grouping with Brooks Koepka and Tony Finau.
Other notable groupings for the opening round at TPC River Highlands include Phil Mickelson, Paul Casey and Bubba Watson (12:50 p.m. ET); Bryson DeChambeau, Patrick Reed and Stewart Cink (7:45 a.m. ET); and Rickie Fowler, Francesco Molinari and Kevin Tway (12:30 p.m. ET).
