The man to beat through 36 holes is former Open champion Louis Oosthuizen. Oosthuizen, who won his Open back in 2010, always seems to be near the top of leaderboards at majors, and he finds himself there again Friday evening. He fired an impressive five-under 65 in the second round to reach 11 under for the tournament.

That gives him a two-shot lead over 2020 PGA Champion Collin Morikawa. Morikawa lit up the historic course at Royal St. George’s early Friday morning, firing a six-under 64 to take the lead for a while. Morikawa and Oosthuizen will be paired together in Saturday’s final pairing, teeing off at 10:55 a.m. ET.

Other notable pairings for Saturday’s round include Jordan Spieth and Dylan Frittelli (10:45 a.m. ET); Dustin Johnson and Scottie Scheffler (10:35 a.m. ET); Brooks Koepka and Mackenzie Hughes (9:55 a.m. ET); Rory McIlroy and Richard Bland (6:05 a.m. ET); and Bryson DeChambeau and Talor Gooch (4:30 a.m. ET).
