As important as driving the ball will be this week at the 2021 Ryder Cup at Whistling Straits, putting is always king. A hot putter can crush the soul of an opponent in match play, just like a cold putter can cost a player the match. When it comes down to it, putting can make or break Team USA in the team event this week.
Most golfers know that club fitting is extremely important to their performance on the golf course. But did you know putter fitting can be just as important? It’s not always as easy to find your perfect putter as simply selecting the design you like best; trusted fitters and local professionals can help you get locked into the putter you’ll actually putt better with.

Before listing Johnson’s putter for the week, it should be noted that Johnson routinely tests multiple putters per week at an event. He’ll test different models looking for the right feel, even changing between blade and mallet options.
