Eighteen holes remain for competitors to prove themselves worthy of weekend tee times at the 2021 John Deere Classic. Here’s what you need to know to watch Friday’s second round on TV or online.
Previewing John Deere Classic Round 2
Having been canceled in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the John Deere Classic returns this year. Camilo Villegas is a four-time Tour winner and hasn’t lifted a trophy since 2014, but he’s showed signs of a comeback in 2021, and TPC Deere Run just might be the site of that breakthrough. Villegas fired a seven-under 64 in Thursday’s opening round, briefly placing him tied atop the leaderboard with Chez Reavie. Reavie is also looking for a comeback of sorts, having captured his second PGA Tour win back in 2019. Sebastián Muñoz and Chesson Hadley later surpassed them with rounds of 63 to share the 18-hole lead.
Both Villegas and Reavie played in the morning on Thursday, so for Friday’s second round they’ll tee off in the afternoon, with Reavie starting at 2:16 p.m. ET, and Villegas going off shortly thereafter at 2:49 pm. ET.
Below you will find everything you need to watch the second round on Friday.
