This week pros travel to Illinois for the 2021 John Deere Classic, the final PGA Tour event before the 2021 Open Championship. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the tournament.

John Deere Classic preview

Now that The Match 4 is over, it’s time to get back to real PGA Tour golf with real money on the line at the John Deere Classic. The John Deere was one of the unfortunate tournaments to be canceled and not rescheduled last year due to the pandemic. So we haven’t seen the pros tee it up at TPC Deere Run in two whole years.

A win at the John Deere has proved to be a jumping off point for several star pros’ careers, most notably for Bryson DeChambeau and Jordan Spieth, who won the 2013 event at 19 years old. Back in 2019, it was Dylan Frittelli who rallied to a two-shot victory to claim his first-ever PGA Tour title. Spieth is taking the week off to prepare for the Open, but Frittelli is in the field to try and capture rare back-to-back wins this week.
