WATCH: Enjoy a Christmas tune courtesy of past Open Championship winners

Christmas is finally here, and with it, Christmas-themed content. Some brands settle for a simple Christmas greeting, while others go all out to spread the holiday cheer. The Open Championship falls in the latter category.

The social team from The Open posted a fun video on Christmas morning that surely tickled the cross-section of golf and Christmas lovers. The 30-second video clips together the sounds of crisp contact from past Open champions to the tune of “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”

The fun video features shots from recent winners like Rory McIlroy and Henrik Stenson and also throws in some Open Championship stalwarts such as Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus. The clip culminates with Shane Lowry’s winning putt at the 2019 Open Championship and fades out with him celebrating the win with his caddie.
