The second round of the 2020 U.S. Open — the second men’s major of the year — kicks off Friday, September 18, at Winged Foot in New York. You can find full second round tee times at the bottom of this post.
Notable groupings for U.S. Open Round 2
Tiger Woods didn’t get off to the start he wanted Thursday at the U.S. Open, finishing bogey-double bogey for a 73. He did make five birdies, though, so the second round offers up another opportunity to make a load of birdies and climb the leaderboard. Tiger will start off the 10th tee on Friday afternoon at 1:27 p.m. ET, playing alongside Collin Morikawa and first-round leader Justin Thomas.
2006 U.S. Open runner-up Phil Mickelson will do the opposite of Tiger, switching from an afternoon tee time on Day 1 to a morning tee time on Friday. He’ll get Round 2 going at 8:07 a.m. ET and play again with Paul Casey and Jon Rahm.
Other notable tee times for Friday include Bryson DeChambeau, Dustin Johnson and Tony Finau (7:56 a.m. ET); Rory McIlroy, Adam Scott and Justin Rose (1:27 p.m. ET); and Hideki Matsuyama, Patrick Reed and Jordan Spieth (1:16 p.m. ET).
