The excitement at Torrey Pines has been evident all week, but the proceedings at the 2021 U.S. Open will take take on a more serious tenor for Saturday’s third round. You can see complete third round tee times at the bottom of this post.

U.S. Open Round 3 preview

One thing is certain as players prepare for the third round at the 2021 U.S. Open, and that is that nothing is certain, especially when it comes to the jam-packed leaderboard. Through 36 holes, Richard Bland and Russell Henley share the lead at five under.

But their lead is small, and their chasers are numerous. Four players are within two shots with two rounds to play, including major winners Bubba Watson and Louis Oosthuizen and World No. 3 Jon Rahm, the pre-tournament betting favorite. A quartet of major winners is within striking distance at even par: Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau, Justin Thomas and Collin Morikawa.

Bland and Henley will tee off in the final pairing on Saturday at 4:35 p.m. ET, while Akshay Bhatia, thanks to a closing birdie on Friday, will open the third round at 10:10 a.m. ET. You can see the full list of third round tee times for the 2021 U.S. Open below.
