2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic tee times: Third round pairings for Saturday

The 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic continues on Saturday, July 3, with the third round at Detroit Golf Club. You can find full Round 3 tee times for the tournament at the bottom of this post.

Notable groupings for Rocket Mortgage Classic Round 3

Chile’s Joaquin Niemann and England’s Tom Lewis share the top spot on the leaderboard at 10 under overall at the tournament’s halfway point. Niemann, 22, already has one Tour win on his resume: the 2019 A Military Tribute at the Greenbrier, while Lewis, 30, is still seeking his maiden Tour victory, though he does have three international victories.

The duo will tee off in Saturday’s final pairing at 2:05 p.m. ET.

Lurking right behind Niemann and Lewis is a trio of experienced players: Max Homa, Chris Kirk and Troy Merritt, who are all one shot back at nine under par overall. Kirk and Merritt will play in the third round’s penultimate pairing at 1:55 p.m. ET, while Homa will tee it up alongside Pat Perez in the third-to-last pairing at 1:45 p.m. ET.

Other notable pairings for the third round at Detroit Golf Club include Matthew Wolff and Sungjae Im at 12:45 p.m. ET; Will Zalatoris and Danny Willett at 12:20 p.m. ET; Rickie Fowler and Si Woo Kim at 10:45 a.m. ET; Nick Taylor and Jason Day at 9:45 a.m. ET; Patrick Reed and Curtis Thompson at 8:20 a.m. ET; and Phil Mickelson, playing alone in Saturday’s first tee time at 7:35 a.m. ET.
