The 2020 PNC Championship finally gets underway on Saturday, Dec. 19 at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Fla. Here’s everything you need to know to watch Tiger Woods and his son Charlie in Saturday’s first round.
Previewing PNC Championship Round 1
The PNC Championship has been around for a long time, albeit with a slightly different name, but this year the excitement and increased interest is palpable. That has to do with the stellar field put together for the event. Tiger and Charlie Woods certainly top that list. For many golf fans, Tiger’s presence makes it a must-watch, but Saturday will also be the first time we see Charlie tee it up on live TV.
Team Woods’ playing partners for the first round will be Justin Thomas and his father Mike. Two-time major champion and fan favorite John Daly will be there, too, along with his talented son. Bubba Watson will also make his PNC debut on Saturday.
The format for the event is a scramble, which means each player will hit every shot, and then each team plays from the spot of the better ball. Below you will find everything you need to watch Saturday’s first round on TV or stream the action online.
How to watch PNC Championship Round 1 on TV
The 2020 PNC Championship will air across NBC, Golf Channel and Peacock. Peacock will open the coverage on Saturday, followed by a two-and-a-half hour NBC broadcast from 2:30-5 p.m ET. Golf Channel will then re-air the action from 6-10 p.m. ET.
