2020 Northern Trust tee times: Second round groupings for Friday

After a opening day full of birdies and big names at the 2020 Northern Trust, the PGA Tour’s best will return to TPC Boston for Friday’s second round. You can find full second round tee times at the bottom of this post.

Notable groupings for Northern Trust Round 2

No matter how low he went on Thursday, Tiger Woods was always going to be a featured attraction of the second round at the Northern Trust, as he was in the first round. On Day 2, Woods will start on TPC Boston’s easier front nine and switch to an afternoon tee time. He’ll begin his second 18 at 1:17 p.m. ET, once again flanked by Dylan Frittelli and Matthew Fitzpatrick.

Another big name who rocketed up the FedEx Cup standings on Thursday was Dustin Johnson. Johnson started the tournament at 15th, but by day’s end he was flirting with the Top 5. DJ begins the second round on Friday at 12:44 p.m. ET alongside Abraham Ancer and Marc Leishman.

As for the man at the top of the standings, Justin Thomas showed no signs that he will give up his claim to the FedEx Cup on Thursday. Thomas will continue his quest for a second Cup title on Friday at 1:06 p.m. ET with fellow contenders Collin Morikawa and Webb Simpson.
