Fresh on the heels on the U.S. Open, the 2022 Travelers Championship begins this week in Connecticut with a star-studded field. According to the Travelers Championship betting odds via BetMGM, the world’s two top-ranked players are installed as betting favorites. Here’s what you need to know.

2022 Travelers Championship odds: This week’s favorites

Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy are on absolute tears right now. The World No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, both have multiple PGA Tour victories this season (Scheffler 4; McIlroy 2) and both have looked strong in their three most recent starts (Scheffler 2-T18-T2; McIlroy T18-1-T5).

Their performances at last week’s U.S. Open only reaffirmed their prowess, and appropriately they are tied as betting favorites for the Travelers at +1000.

But don’t sleep on two players further down in the Top 15 in odds to win.

Jordan Spieth (+2500) is always a threat, despite his disappointing showing at The Country Club. Keegan Bradley (+3300) had a great week at Brookline, finishing T7 in front of adoring fans from his home region of New England. Perhaps Bradley can ride the New England momentum again for his fifth PGA Tour win.

2022 Travelers Championship odds: Long shot of the week

If you watched the 2021 Travelers Championship and then tuned out of the PGA Tour since, you’d be very surprised to see where Kramer Hickok ranks in betting odds to win this week (+25000). Hickok came extremely close to winning last year’s Travelers. How close? He tied for lowest score through 72 holes, then battled over an eight-hole playoff before finally falling to Harris English.

Unfortunately for Hickok, the 2021-22 season has not gone according to plan. In 24 events, Hickok has missed the cut 13 times. As a result, his odds to win have tanked. But if Hickok is able to draw on his good memories from last year and win, he could turn your $100 bet into $25,000.

You can see the top 15 in Travelers Championship betting odds as of Wednesday morning below, or head over to BetMGM to see the full list of odds and bets for this week.
