CBD was removed from the World Anti-Doping Agency’s list of banned substances two years ago, and ever since, it’s fast becoming a secret weapon for so many players on the PGA Tour. For all the questions you were too afraid to ask about CBD, check out our article breaking it all down right here.
I had the opportunity to check out some CBD products myself for the first time thanks to the team over at On The Green CBD, a CBD company which designs products specifically for golfers. These are each of the products I tried, what I thought about them, and a link to buy for each, in case you want to try them for yourself. When you do, make sure to use our exclusive GOLF30 code at checkout for an additional 30 percent off.
My Favorites:
CBD-Infused Hand Sanitizer
Before the coronavirus entered into our public consciousness, I, like most golfers, never bothered keeping hand sanitizer in my golf bag. Now it’s a must, and On The Green’s sanitizing product is my new go-to. It’s small and light enough to keep in your bag at all times, its spray top means its easy to apply in-between shots without worrying about accidentally squeezing gel all over your clothes, it’s offered at an affordable price point, and the 200 mg of cannabinoids within means its one of the few hand sanitizers that’s dual-purpose. A must-have for me.

CBD Sun Block
Like the hand sanitizer, my favorite CBD products from On The Green were the ones that were dual-purpose, and the company’s Sun Block fits that bill perfectly. The product was good in itself: I applied mine before a hot round and unlike other sun blocks, it was nicely sweat-resistant, and I never once had to worry about it dripping away. Compact and convenient enough to take to and from the course, and knowing it contains 250 mgs of pure CBD it’s nice to know I had a sunblock that was working for me in more ways than one.

(300MG) Vegan Gummies 30 PACK
I was especially excited to try some CBD edibles, and they didn’t disappoint. If I found myself needing to chill slightly during a round, I’d simply pop one or two of these in. They were a far more productive in-round snack than the standard options, and while I was skeptical about whether they would taste good at first, I can attest: These were delicious, and I enjoyed that I had a variety of different flavors to choose from (though strawberry was my favorite).

Sleep (500MG) +CBN Terpene Enhanced Broad Spectrum CBD Tincture
Sleep is something easily taken for granted, and many of us don’t think about it enough. Sleep is your time to recover, for your body to heal, and it’s no wonder that if you think back to some of your best rounds ever, a good night’s sleep probably preceded all of them. I got into a routine of dropping-in a few drops every night before bed, and found my sleeping steadily improved.

(350MG) Relief Cooling Gel
On the whole, I’ve been pretty lucky with injuries, but even so, I’ll get a little bit of pain in my lower back on occasion. Usually it’s from a long round carrying my bag, or following an extra-long practice putting session, but regardless, I enjoyed resting up with some cooling gel after it all. The gel sort of tingles at first, and the roll-on application makes it easy to apply.
