Tiger Woods has returned to the golf course, and so has his regular caddie, Joe LaCava. And, since Tiger has returned at the PNC Championship, that means his son, Charlie Woods, is also there. As for Charlie’s caddie? Also a LaCava — Joe LaCava Jr.

It’s a father/son duo again for both families at this year’s PNC Championship in Orlando, as Joe LaCava Jr. also caddied for Charlie at last year’s event. For the record, Tiger is taking a cart this week — he’s still not healthy enough to walk 18 holes — but his main man is still there to carry the bag.

Joe Jr. had little caddying experience prior to the 2020 PNC, but he got lots more reps this year. According to Golf Channel’s Friday broadcast of the PNC pro-am, Joe Jr. spent the summer looping at Winged Foot. He recently graduated from James Madison with a marketing degree.

“It’s the two Joeys and the Woodses together out there,” Tiger Woods said after Friday’s pro-am. “We are in our little bubble, we are chatting away, we are talking about sports.”

The PNC Championship is a 36-hole tournament played on the Grande Lakes Orlando course at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando. After pro-ams on Thursday and Friday, the event is held Saturday and Sunday.

Besides the ever-popular Team Woods, other notable participants include John Daly, Justin Thomas, Nick Faldo, Tom Lehman, Tom Watson, Lee Trevino and Nelly Korda.
