The final PGA Tour event of the regular season, the 2021 Wyndham Championship, kicks off this week in North Carolina, with a host of pros fighting to make the FedEx Cup Playoffs. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the tournament.

Wyndham Championship preview

Rickie Fowler has a lot on the line at this week’s Wyndham Championship. The popular Tour pro has started to come out of a yearslong slump on the course, but he’s currently ranked 130th in the FedEx Cup standings. Fowler will need to put together a strong finish at Sedgefield CC to crack the Top 125 and earn a spot in the first FedEx Cup Playoff event, next week’s Northern Trust.

Fowler will have his work cut out for him, not just will the full field of Tour pros, but within his own group. He’ll play the first two rounds with 2021 Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama and 2016 gold medal winner Justin Rose. Other big-name players in the field include Will Zalatoris, Bubba Watson, Tommy Fleetwood and more.
