After a week off, the PGA Tour is back in action for the 2024 World Wide Technology Championship, and our preferred long shot this week just won the most recent tournament. For this week’s FedEx Fall event in Mexico, we’re selecting Colombia pro Nico Echavarria as our long shot, and he comes into the week with +5500 odds to win.

There’s one simple reason why Nico looks good to us: he won the most recent PGA Tour event two weeks ago. That event was the Zozo Championship, and Echavarria fought off a host of Tour stars to earn his second career PGA Tour win.
While this week’s field is larger, it doesn’t have nearly as many top players, which gives Echavarria a great opportunity to capture his second win in a row.
If you bet $10 on Echavarria to win and he does it, you’ll walk away with $550. Consider placing additional small bets on Echavarria to finish top 10 and top 20 for insurance.
