Weekend action at the 2022 Wells Fargo Championship gets underway Saturday morning with the third round at TPC Potomac. Here’s what you need to know to watch Round 3 on TV or online.

Previewing Wells Fargo Championship Round 3

Rain and wind have pummeled the players this week at the Wells Fargo, making scoring difficult on Friday, especially for the afternoon wave (see: Rory McIlroy). Players woke up to more storms on Saturday morning. But having expected the bad weather, tournament officials decided Friday night to move back tee times.

After waiting out the rain in the early morning, players will tee off from 10:50 a.m.-12:50 p.m. ET on two sets of tees. The player at the top of the leaderboard and occupying one of those 12:50 p.m. tee times is Jason Day.

The 2015 PGA champion hasn’t won since 2018 Wells Fargo amid horrible struggles with his putting. But Day has been rounding into form for months, and he shot a 67 on Friday to take a three-shot lead at 10 under. He’ll play the third round with his two closest chasers, Max Homa (seven under) and Luke List (six under).

You can stream the third round via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+, or watch the telecasts on Golf Channel and CBS.
