2021 U.S. Open TV schedule: How to watch the U.S. Open on TV
On the heels of Phil Mickelson’s thrilling PGA Championship win, the best men’s golfers in the world will tee it up once again to fight for major glory at the 2021 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the action on TV.
Where to watch the U.S. Open on TV
This year’s U.S. Open heads back to historic Torrey Pines in California, the site of Tiger Woods’ epic victory at the 2008 U.S. Open. Tiger won’t be in the field this time around, but plenty of stars have their sights set on the U.S. Open trophy, including Mickelson, a six-time runner-up at the national championship, and defending champion Bryson DeChambeau.
Because the tournament is taking place on the West Coast, TV coverage will shift into primetime for viewers on the East Coast. All four rounds will air on TV with coverage split between NBC and Golf Channel. The action begins with the first round on Thursday, June 17, with TV coverage running to 10 p.m. ET. TV coverage ends at 9 p.m. ET on Friday and Saturday, with the final round wrapping up on NBC at 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 20.
In addition to television coverage on NBC and Golf Channel, Peacock, NBCUniversal’s new streaming service, will carry nearly three hours of exclusive coverage of the first two rounds. You can see the full streaming schedule here.
