The Northern Trust — after taking Sunday off due to Tropical Storm Henri entering the Northeast — will tee off on Monday and try to finish the final round of the first of three FedEx Cup Playoffs events. Here’s what you need to know.
Previewing Northern Trust Round 4
Tee times for the final round were scheduled to begin at 7:30 a.m. ET on Monday, but after officials assessed the course conditions they decided to institute a delay. Play is now slated to begin at 11:30 a.m. ET.
Players will go off both tees and in threesomes. The final grouping of Jon Rahm, Cameron Smith and Erik van Rooyen will start at approximately 1:42 p.m. off the 1st tee. Smith and Rahm lead at 16 under, with van Rooyen one back at 15 under. Lots of others are in the mix and, as Smith proved on Saturday, it’s anyone’s game. He shot a course-record 60 to vault up the leaderboard.
