Notable pairings for Masters Round 3

Through two rounds at the 2021 Masters, some of the biggest names in the game of golf are in the hunt for the green jacket. Former U.S. Open champion and 2016 Olympic gold medal winner Justin Rose leads the way. Rose shot an incredible 65 in the opening round on Thursday to jump out to a big lead.

Friday didn’t start well for the veteran Englishman. He made bogey at the 1st and was three over at the turn with several players just one shot behind him, but Rose fought back with three late birdies to shoot even par and preserve his lead. Rose tees off in the final pairing with Will Zalatoris on Saturday at 2:20 p.m. ET.

Other star players in the mix include resurgent 2015 Masters champion Jordan Spieth and Players champion Justin Thomas, setting up what will no doubt be a thrilling Saturday at Augusta National. Spieth starts Round 2 at 2:00 p.m. ET alongside Bernd Wiesberger, and Thomas will play with Tony Finau beginning at 1:50 p.m. ET.
