2020 Northern Trust tee times: First round groupings for Thursday

The 2020 FedEx Cup Playoffs begin on Thursday with the first round of the Northern Trust at TPC Boston. You can find full first round tee times at the bottom of this post.
Notable groupings for Northern Trust Round 1
PGA champion Collin Morikawa will make his first start as a major winner Thursday morning at the Northern Trust, the first event of the FedEx Cup Playoffs. And he’ll do it alongside two other major champs and fellow members of the Top 10 in the world rankings: Justin Thomas and Webb Simpson. The trio will tee off the 10th at 8:26 a.m. ET for Thursday’s opening round.

Immediately following that group on 10 tee will be Tiger Woods. Woods is also making his first start since the PGA this week, and only his third start since the PGA Tour returned to action in June. Woods will play the first round at TPC Boston alongside Dylan Frittelli and Matthew Fitzpatrick.
As for Thursday’s afternoon wave, there are two groups in particular that golf fans should keep an eye on. The 1:06 p.m. tee time features Bryson DeChambeau, Patrick Reed and Sungjae Im, while Phil Mickelson will get his tournament started at 12:11 p.m. ET with Henrik Norlander and Brian Harman.
