2020 Mayakoba Golf Classic tee times: First round groupings for Thursday

The 2020 Mayakoba Golf Classic presented by UNIFIN — the final PGA Tour tournament of 2020 — kicks off Thursday, December 3, in Mexico. You can find full first round tee times for the tournament at the bottom of this post.

Notable groupings for Mayakoba Golf Classic Round 1

The man to beat in Mexico this week will no doubt be Justin Thomas. Thomas is currently ranked No. 3 in the world, and he has no plans of moving anywhere but up in the ranking.

In his four starts since the beginning of the 2020-21 season, Thomas’ worst finish is a T12 at the CJ Cup at Shadow Creek. In his two most recent events, he finished T2 at the Zozo Championship and solo 4th at the November Masters. So clearly JT is on top of his game. He tees off for Thursday’s first round at the Mayakoba at 7:50 a.m. ET alongside Viktor Hovland and Joaquin Niemann.

Other notable groupings for the opening round include Brooks Koepka, Carlos Ortiz and defending champion Brendon Todd (12:20 p.m. ET); Rickie Fowler, Gary Woodland and Abraham Ancer (7:40 a.m. ET); Tony Finau, Sebastián Muñoz and Corey Conners (12:10 p.m. ET); and Daniel Berger, Charles Howell III and Ryan Armour (8:00 a.m. ET).
