Week 2 of the PGA Tour’s restart kicks off Thursday at the RBC Heritage in Hilton Head S.C., and Rory McIlroy headlines the stout field in betting odds once again. The World No. 1 comes into the week as a 12/1 favorite according to golfodds.com as he competes at Harbour Town Golf Links for just the second time in his career.
McIlroy finished T58 in his only other appearance at the RBC Heritage over a decade ago, but now the seasoned veteran returns to South Carolina as one of the most consistent golfers on the planet. His Sunday meltdown at Colonial notwithstanding, McIlroy is a strong bet to rebound.
Golfodds.com also likes Justin Thomas and Bryson DeChambeau for this week, giving the duo matching 14/1 odds. DeChambeau has two top-5 finishes in four starts at Harbour Town while Thomas owns a T11 in 2015. However, the following year Thomas shot a final-round 82 en route to a 75th-place showing.
Jon Rahm — despite a lackluster missed cut at Colonial — owns the fourth-best odds at 16/1 and will be making his tournament debut when he pegs it up on Thursday.
And following strong performances last week, Xander Schauffele and Collin Morikawa round out the top five with 20/1 odds.
