At a time when many country clubs have relaxed their dress-code standards to include apparel that is “marketed as such” — meaning, if manufacturers say this is golf apparel, we agree! — women can now enjoy the freedom of wearing certain items that we previously frowned upon at some courses, like collarless necklines and racer-backs.

Thanks to mainstream brands like Greyson, RLX and J.Lindeberg, women can enjoy wearing on-course apparel that more closely resembles the street trends in our non-golf closet.
And hallelujah! As a 30-something mom who grew up wearing boxy golf apparel in junior boys’ sizes, the idea of wearing something feminine that has actual crossover potential to the real world outside of the course is somewhat revolutionary, and most welcome.
