GOLF

One of the glories of fall golf is the opportunity for layering. A chilly morning that perhaps requires sleeves or even something more substantial can often give way to a warmish midday, and the subsequent need to shed a layer or two.

But all that donning and doffing can be disruptive. (I can’t be the only player who feels a jacket impedes my swing, can I?)

Playing fall golf among the leaves? Remember this key stroke-saving rule
By: Josh Berhow

That’s where a vest can really save the day.

With a vest, your arms can enjoy full freedom of movement while retaining warmth around your core at the same time. Plus, they look great, both on and off the course.

I’ve found that a vest is ideal for temperatures in the 50s and 60s, especially with a solid under-layer. And depending on what you opt to wear underneath the vest, or the thickness of the vest itself, you can often brave even cooler temperatures without a jacket.

In short, a vest is a fall-golf essential, so make sure to add one to your apparel arsenal today! Check out our 13 favorites below, and click the link to purchase.
