The 2022 U.S. Open runs from June 16-19 at The Country Club in Brookline, Mass. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the U.S. Open all week long.

How to watch the U.S. Open

This week’s U.S. Open is setting up to be a memorable one. The Golden Age host course alone, which has previously hosted three U.S. Opens and the dramatic 1999 Ryder Cup won by the United States, is reason enough for viewers to tune in.

What NBC will — and won’t — cover in Phil Mickelson’s U.S. Open return
By: James Colgan

But the real story this week is the players. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is in the field and gunning to extend his dominance with another major win. Defending champion Jon Rahm, who gave an impassioned defense of the PGA Tour on Tuesday, has his eye on back-to-back victories.

Then there’s Rory McIlroy, the betting favorite, who just won the RBC Canadian Open and desperately wants to win his first major since 2014. And don’t forget about Justin Thomas, whose 2022 PGA Championship triumph is still fresh in his mind. Add to that the controversy surrounding LIV Golf players like Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson teeing it up alongside their former Tour brethren and we have the makings of a must-watch tournament.

Fortunately, the millions of golf fans who won’t be in attendance have lots of ways to watch the U.S. Open action from home. NBC and USA will air the TV broadcasts beginning each morning and lasting into the evening. If you prefer to stream the action online, Peacock, USOpen.com and NBCSports.com have you covered with extensive streaming options.
