One round is complete at the first PGA Tour event of the year, the 2021 Sentry Tournament of Champions. Here’s what you need to know to watch the second round on Friday.

Previewing Tournament of Champions Round 2

Justin Thomas already has two Sentry Tournament of Champions titles on his resume — including a thrilling playoff win over Patrick Reed last year — and it appears he’s picking up right where he left off, firing an opening round of 8-under 65.

But the 42-player field is full of talented contenders who are determined to give Thomas a run for his money. Harris English matched Thomas’ 65 to sit alongside him at the top of the leaderboard through one round.

Also in contention: six players who are only two shots back, including Masters champions Sergio Garcia and Patrick Reed. Dustin Johnson was the betting favorite heading into the week, but he has some ground to make up to get himself into contention after a first round of 2-under 71.

Another player to keep an eye on: the always-interesting Bryson DeChambeau, who is only four shots back after carding a 4-under 69 on Thursday. The next three rounds are sure to be full of intrigue as the Tour’s best battle it out in Maui’s tropical paradise.

Below you will find everything you need to watch the second round of the 2021 Sentry Tournament of Champions on Friday.
