The 2022 RSM Classic begins on Thursday, Nov. 17, with the first round at Sea Island. Here’s what you need to know to watch Round 1 on TV or online.

Previewing Round 1

At the beginning of the week, it looked like the headliner at the RSM Classic would be Tony Finau, fresh off a victory at the Houston Open and eyeing the second back-to-back win stretch of his career. But Finau withdrew on Tuesday, leaving another storyline to take its place: Jason Day’s comeback quest.

Once ranked No. 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking, Day has not claimed victory on the PGA Tour since 2018 at the Wells Fargo Championship. What followed was years worth of injuries and on-course struggles, but the 2015 PGA champion’s game is starting to turn around in a big way.

Can he reach his goal of returning to the winner’s circle at Sea Island? We’ll start to get an answer to that on Thursday, when Day tees off for the first round at 10:30 a.m. ET with Seamus Power and Joel Dahmen.

You can watch TV coverage of the first round on Golf Channel beginning at 12 p.m. Thursday, or stream the action via Golfchannel.com and NBCSports.com. You can also view featured group coverage all day long via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+.
