The scoring remains ultra-low in Detroit, with three players tied at the top of the leaderboard at the tournament’s halfway point: Chris Kirk, Philip Knowles and Andrew Putnam are 14 under par, one shot ahead of Jackson Suber (-13) and two shots ahead of three players at 12 under.
Also in the mix: Collin Morikawa, Hideki Maysuyama and Gary Woodland, all of whom are 11 under.
Collin Morikawa’s Round 2 highlights from Rocket Classic
In the second round of the 2025 Rocket Classic, Collin Morikawa shot an 8-under 64 to improve to 11-under overall at Detroit Golf Club.
Kirk and Knowles will play in the final pairing at 2:05 p.m. ET, with Putnam and Suber taking the the penultimate tee time at 1:55 p.m. ET.

Golf Channel will carry third-round TV coverage of the 2025 Rocket Classic from 1-3 p.m. ET on Saturday, followed by the CBS broadcast from 3-6 p.m. ET.
