After a long, exciting season on the PGA Tour and three thrilling FedEx Cup Playoff events, we’ve reached the grande finale with the final round at the 2024 Tour Championship. And enormous amounts of money will be doled out to players thanks to the record-breaking purse this week.
Players competing at East Lake are not just playing for the Tour Championship title but the FedEx Cup as well. And that’s where all the money is coming from.

The total Tour Championship and FedEx Cup purse equals an astounding $100 million. But that money won’t be doled out evenly.
Whether World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler successfully finishes off his Tour Championship campaign on Sunday, or if Collin Morikawa is able to steal it away, the winner will earn $25 million.
But second place isn’t all that bad. This week the runner-up will earn a cool $12.5 million, more than three time’s the winner’s share at the major championships.
And last place will still earn a pretty penny, too, to the tune of $550,000.
