Can anyone stop Scottie Scheffler’s charge to his first-career FedEx Cup title and it’s $25 million bonus? After three rounds at the Tour Championship, it seems unlikely.
Scheffler shot his second-consecutive 66 on Saturday at East Lake to reach 26 under and take a huge five-shot lead into the final round. His nearest chaser is Collin Morikawa at 21 under. Sahith Theegala will start Sunday in third a full nine shots back.
Scheffler tees off for Sunday’s final round at 1:05 p.m. ET alongside Morikawa.
