Featured tee time for Round 3
Heading into the BMW Championship, Adam Scott needed a solid finish to launch himself from 41st in the FedEx Cup points standings into the top 30.
At the halfway point of the tournament, Scott has risen to the occasion — and then some. Thanks to opening rounds of 68-63, Scott is currently enjoying a three-shot lead over his closest competitor, Keegan Bradley.

A win would push Scott into fourth place in the points standings behind Hideki Matsuyama (3rd), Xander Schauffele (2nd) and Scottie Scheffler (1st). The winner of next week’s Tour Championship earns $25 million. Lucrative (and exciting) times ahead, indeed!
Scott will tee off in Saturday’s final pairing alongside Bradley at 11:35 a.m. ET. You can watch Saturday’s third round of the BMW Championship on ESPN+ with exclusive early action and featured group coverage beginning at 9 a.m. ET, and on Golf Channel starting at 1 p.m. ET followed by NBC at 3 p.m. ET.
