Featured grouping for Round 1
This season has not gone according to plan for Justin Thomas. The American star captured his second major victory just last May at the PGA Championship. But that seems a long time ago now.
This year, Thomas has only earned three top-10s and, as a result, has fallen to No. 75 in the FedEx Cup standings. Even worse news, his slump has threatened his chances to make the 2023 U.S. Ryder Cup team.
Thomas will need a few strong performances to secure his spot, and his quest starts Thursday at the 3M Open.
Thomas tees off for the first round at 1:54 p.m. ET alongside Joel Dahmen and Gary Woodland. You can stream Thursday’s first round via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ beginning at 7:45 a.m. ET or watch the action on Golf Channel starting at 4 p.m. ET.
