The 2022 Cadence Bank Houston Open gets underway Thursday with the opening round at Memorial Park Golf Course. You can find full Round 1 tee times for the tournament at the bottom of this post.

Scottie Scheffler is a man on a mission, and any other pro golfer would be wise to steer clear of him. The 26-year-old American star lost his World No. 1 ranking a few weeks ago when Rory McIlroy won the CJ Cup, and now he wants it back.

Houston Open picks: 4 bets our expert loves this week in Texas

He almost completed the task last week at Mayakoba, where a nine-under 62 in the final round came up just short of Russell Henley’s winning total, handing Scheffler a T3 finish. If Scheffler is able to put together a couple rounds like that this week, he should reclaim the No. 1 ranking in no time.

For Thursday’s opening round, Scheffler will get his tournament started early at 8:13 a.m. ET, and he’ll play the first round with Sam Burns and Taylor Montgomery.
