2022 Genesis Invitational tee times: Round 3 groupings for Saturday

Twenty-three-year-old Joaquin Niemann set Riviera ablaze — figuratively speaking, of course — on Thursday, firing a first-round 63. Incredibly, he matched the feat on Friday, bringing his 36-hole total to 16 under par — good enough to lead the field at the tournament’s halfway point by two shots.

Instruction

His closest competitor? Twenty-four-year-old Cameron Young, who shot rounds of 66-62 to reach 14 under. The two young studs will play in the final group on Saturday, along with Justin Thomas, who is five shots back at 11 under par.
