The third round of the 2021 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play takes place Friday, March 25, at Austin Country Club. You can find full third round matchups and tee times at the bottom of this post.
Notable matches for Day 3
Friday represents the final day of round robin play at this year’s Match Play, but for Bryson DeChambeau, as well as many other competitors, single elimination starts early. DeChambeau fought back from a tough loss on Wednesday to scratch out a 2 and 1 win over Si Woo Kim on Day 2.
For the third round, Bryson will face Tommy Fleetwood (1-0-1) beginning at 11:04 a.m. Et (10:04 a.m. local time). If Fleetwood wins he advances and DeChambeau is out and will head home early. If Bryson is able to pull out a win, he’ll move on provided that Kim defeats Antoine Rozner (1-1-0). If Rozner also wins, however, he and DeChambeau will tee it up in a playoff to determine who advances from their group.
Major champions Justin Thomas and Louis Oosthuizen will kick things off in the first match of the day at 10:20 a.m. ET, while the final match between Kevin Kisner and Matt Kuchar starts at 4:01 p.m. ET.
