The 2021 Ryder Cup comes to an end on Sunday with 12 pivotal singles matches at Whistling Straits. Here’s what you need to know to watch Sunday’s grand finale on TV or online.
It all comes down to this. Through two days of play at the 43rd Ryder Cup, the U.S. team holds a big advantage heading into Sunday’s singles matches. But it would have been a much bigger lead if not for a minor European comeback Saturday afternoon.
Tensions run high at Ryder Cup as Americans pull awayBy: Dylan Dethier
After losing the first three sessions by matching scores of 3-1, Team Europe fought back in Saturday fourball, winning two of the matches to secure a tie for the session. That leaves them trailing the U.S. 11-5, giving them a chance to put up one final stand on Sunday. A full 12 points will be up for grabs, so even though the Americans’ lead is large, anything can happen.
