The 2021 Houston Open continues on Saturday, November 13, with the conclusion of the second round as well as the third round at Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston, Texas. Here’s what you need to know to watch the action on TV or online.
Previewing Houston Open Round 3
Play was suspended for darkness on Friday evening, leaving a significant portion of the field with as many as nine holes left to play. The second round will resume at 8:00 a.m. ET on Saturday, with the third round beginning at approximately 10:50 a.m. ET. Players who make the cut will be grouped in threesomes teeing off both the first and 10th tees.
Martin Trainer currently leads the field at 10 under par after firing a second consecutive round of 65. Kevin Tway is one shot behind him at nine under, and Jason Kokrak is eight under with seven holes remaining in his second round.
Trainer’s play marks a welcome return to contention after missing 28 of 32 cuts since last September’s Safeway Open. Trainer is currently competing on a PGA Tour exemption he earned via his victory at the 2019 Puerto Rico Open.
Also in the mix: Adam Long (-7) and a three-way tie between Kramer Hickok, Adam Schenk and Scottie Scheffler, all of whom are six under.
