2020 U.S. Women’s Open live coverage: How to watch Round 2 on Friday

Following an exciting opening day at the 2020 U.S. Women’s Open, the second round is ready to begin on Friday, December 11. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the second round online and on TV.

Previewing U.S. Open Round 2

The entire field faced difficult conditions on Thursday at Champions Golf Club no matter which course they played, as is to be expected at a U.S. Women’s Open. When the dust settled, 28-year-old American Amy Olson stood alone on top of the leaderboard at four under. Despite a lot of close finishes, she has yet to capture a win on the LPGA Tour. But that could change this week at the biggest tournament of them all. Olson tees off for Friday’s second round at 10:06 a.m. ET alongside Jennifer Song and Morgan Pressel.

Another player to keep an eye out for on Friday is Sophia Popov. Popov shocked the golf world with her win at the AIG Women’s Open earlier this year, her first major and LPGA win. This week she’s trying to back up that win with another major triumph, and she’s off to a great start. Popov fired a two-under 69 on Thursday to get within two shots of the lead. Popov begins Round 2 at 10:38 a.m. ET with Mi Jung Hur and Carlota Ciganda on the Jackrabbit course.
