The 2020 Tour Championship, the final event of the PGA Tour season, continues with the second round on Saturday, September 5, in Atlanta, Ga. You can find full second round tee times at the bottom of this post.
Notable pairings for Tour Championship Round 2
World Nos. 1 and 2, Dustin Johnson and Jon Rahm, respectively, will tee it up together again in Round 2 on Saturday. Thanks to the new FedEx Cup format, Johnson started the tournament with a two-shot lead over Rahm, but the young Spaniard quickly closed the gap with an opening round of 65 to Johnson’s 67. Now the two are tied atop the leaderboard at 13-under — two shots clear of Justin Thomas, and four clear of new dad Rory McIlroy. Johnson and Rahm will start their second round at 2:05 p.m. ET on Saturday.
McIlroy and Thomas will play in the penultimate pairing at 1:55 p.m. ET.
One player who made an impressive charge up the leaderboard with a first-round 64 is Abraham Ancer, who matched McIlroy with the low round of the day, and whittled Johnson’s nine-shot advantage to six. Ancer is currently in 5th place and will play alongside Xander Schauffele at 1:45 p.m. ET.
