Editor’s Picks: 3 products I’m using to boost my swing speed this offseason

Coming into the new year, I’ve got a goal for my golf game. I’m going to gain swing speed. I’m going to get stronger. And I am not going to lose focus from this goal.

It’s starting this offseason. I have all three of the products you’ll see below, and I can vouch for them personally, so that’s what I’m recommending to you this week.

Orange Whip

First up is the Orange Whip. When I’m getting loose before a round, the range, or before one of the speed training sessions, the first thing I reach for is the Orange Whip. It’s a longer, heavier golf club with an ultra-flexible shaft, which I find helps me sync-up my sequencing, build my strength, flexibility, and whip the clubhead into the ball.

SUPERSPEED C

After warming up with the Orange Whip, slowly at first and then building to between 5 and 10 all-out swings, I move onto the SuperSpeed C. It’s a lighter, counter-balanced version designed to increase your hand speed and release. 10 swings with those, as fast as you can, and you’ll be feeling your power level tracking higher.

Adidas Tour360 XT

After one of the worst mid-swing slips I’ve ever hand on the golf course, I’ve resolved to pay extra close attention to my footwear. The good people over at Adidas sent me a pair of Tour360 XTs earlier this year and they’ve become my go-to shoes that have never let me down. A huge part of creating swing speed is using the ground as leverage. To do that, you need a good pair of shoes to that offer both stability and flexibility.

Adidas Tour360 XT

$199.99
The Adidas Tour360 XT golf shoe is a popular choice among those who play golf for a living, and for good reason. It starts with the premium leather upper that provides durability and an easy-to-clean surface. The top portion features Climaproof weather resistance and a 360Wrap that circles the entire foot and locks it into place for outstanding midfoot support. Speaking of, the foot is also supported by the responsive Boost midsole that cushions each step for all-day comfort. And if that’s not enough support, the Tour360 XT also includes a green-friendly Torsion Tunnel on the outsole for greater flexibility while providing increased arch support. When it comes to gripping prowess, the Tour360 XT golf shoe offers strategically placed X-Traxion secondary lugs and an eight cleat TPU Puremotion outsole with Thintech EXP cleats. Comes with a 2-year weather-proof warranty. We think the Tour360 XT epitomizes what it means to be a modern player’s golf shoe. It has all the style and substance anyone needs to look and play their best.
