Our take: Cleveland takes its wedges very seriously, as it should, having made some of the most influential designs in the last several decades. The all-new RTX ZipCore wedge rewrites the way Cleveland interprets wedge design with a slew of new innovations intended to help players gain consistency while also enabling more versatility. Which, in case you haven’t noticed, is a damn hard thing to do. (Well, maybe for Cleveland it’s not.)

Cleveland RTX ZipCore Wedge

Cleveland completely overhauled their flagship RTX wedge line to bring the new RTX ZipCore construction. ZipCore features a unique, low-density core in the heart of the club. The new design, with a more centered Sweet Spot and High-Low MOI, creates more consistency in the spin, distance, and feel of every shot.

The details: The RTX ZipCore wedges feature a low-density material in the heel region that optimizes the CG for better control. It also raises the MOI for improved trajectory control and shotmaking consistency. Testers especially liked the new Ultizip grooves for added spin and an all-new heat-treatment process that makes these wedges exceptionally durable. Comes in three finishes and three grinds in a variety of lofts, making it easy to choose the ideal setup.
